The Main Neighborhoods

AVENTURA

Aventura is a luxurious and multicultural neighborhood that offers a very pleasant lifestyle. Its luxury buildings offer sumptuous views of the ocean or the Bay. Shopping enthusiasts will find their happiness in the famous "Aventura Mall" with its stores, restaurants, cafes and cinema. The more athletic can walk or run around a 4.41 mile circuit around the city. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy sailing, fishing, boating and of course swimming on the beautiful white sand beaches. Golfers of all skill levels can practice on the 18-hole Turnberry Isle Resort, and families will enjoy the beautiful, well-maintained parks and excellent public and private schools.

HOLLYWOOD

Hollywood is located about 10 minutes from Fort Lauderdale and offers a pleasant lifestyle that is much appreciated by our Canadian neighbors. You can enjoy outdoor dining by the ocean or take a trip to the mangroves by canoe, foot or bike to enjoy the natural environment and bird watching. Hollywood offers a seaside lined with restaurants, bars and small stores. Bicycles can be rented to ride the bike path along the beach. Hollywood Boulevard is a long avenue lined with restaurants offering international cuisine (French, Thai, Indonesian, American, Italian...), bars, ice cream shops, small boutiques and a small cinema showing independent films. At the end of this avenue a large park organizes every Friday afternoon animations for the children. In the evening it is transformed into an open-air cinema. Hollywood represents a very attractive real estate market.

FORT LAUDERDALE

Nicknamed "The Venice of America" because of its climate, beach and boating activity, it is an important tourist destination. The presence of canals makes it an important center for boating. Fort Lauderdale is an important center for the construction and maintenance of pleasure boats. The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is one of the largest in the world. The downtown area along Las Olas Blvd. in particular has experienced a renaissance with the construction of new skyscrapers, luxury hotels and a resurgence of trendy boutiques, restaurants and art galleries. With its beautiful beaches and cultural life, Fort Lauderdale offers a great lifestyle.

POMPANO BEACH

With no less than 50 parks and miles of crystal clear water, Pompano Beach is an ideal place to enjoy outdoor activities and life. This city has pedestrian streets that allow you to walk, jog and even cycle safely. Boating and water activities are very important at Pompano Beach. Its many restaurants with a relaxed, friendly and family atmosphere offer seafood and fish menus. With Pompano Citi Center and its Festival Flea Market, Pompano offers a wide choice of stores for shopping.

SURFSIDE

Lovely residential area with a lively main street full of nice stores, restaurants and local businesses. Surfside offers a unique lifestyle with its beachside entertainment center and large new upscale resorts.

BAL HARBOUR

Bal Harbor is one of the most chic neighborhoods in Miami. It is a prestigious place with its private beaches, its penthouses along the Bay, and its sumptuous buildings and hotels located by the sea and offering a breathtaking view of the Ocean. "The Bal Harbor Shop" is a shopping center bringing together the big names in luxury and very good upscale restaurants.

SUNNY ISLES

Sunny Isles Beach is often compared to the "Florida Riviera". This area is home to luxury condominiums along the ocean and its beautiful beaches or the Bay. Shopping lovers will find their happiness at the "Aventura Mall" or the superb "Bal Harbour Shop". There are beautiful, well-maintained parks and beautiful homes. Sunny Isles Beach is adjacent to the town of Golden Beach, which boasts sumptuous villas, some with private beaches.

NORTH BAY VILLAGE

North Bay Village, is a collection of three islands located between the cities of Miami and Miami Beach. North Bay Island; Harbor Island and Treasure Island offer breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay and a variety of restaurants and stores.

SOUTH BEACH

The South Beach neighborhood, known as SOBE, is the most popular in Miami. It offers the possibility to move on foot to go to the beach, to the restaurant, to make shopping or to make pretty walks. It has a trendy atmosphere, a vibrant nightlife and beautiful beaches. SOBE has a varied architecture between luxury hotels, small Art-Deco buildings and beautiful houses with docks. South Beach also attracts events such as Art Basel and the South Beach Wine and Food Festival.

MIAMI BEACH

Miami is a world-famous seaside resort. This strip of land nestled between the Sea and the Bay is very popular for its very trendy lifestyle, its sumptuous beaches, its gastronomy, its hotels and its large high-end buildings. Major events such as festivals, shows, concerts, trade fairs and professional conferences are held there every year. You can attend the Winter Music Conference or listen to the New World Symphony. Here you will find a large selection of condominiums with very modern comfort overlooking the sea or the Bay, more traditional houses or luxury villas in the neighboring islands.

DOWNTOWN / BRICKELL

Downtown is the 3rd largest business district in the country. It has been rehabilitated and is booming since 2017. In Brickell, the headquarters of major banks and multinationals are located in the skyscrapers and cohabit with high-end residential buildings. Located on the Bay, Brickell offers incredible views of the city and the ocean. Major commercial and residential projects are still planned, such as the "Brickell City Center", which will be the fourth largest mall in the United States. Brickell is also known for its trendy nightlife with chic and fashionable restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

EDGEWATER / DESIGN DISTRICT / WYNWOOD

Further north, along the Bay, the Edgewater neighborhood is in full development. With an ideal geographical position, it offers a lively life (opera, museums, concerts, restaurants and bars) while enjoying an incredible view of Miami Beach. Not far away, the Design District and Wynwood, two emblematic neighborhoods of fashion and luxury stores but also of Art, galleries, exhibitions, and "Walls" made by Street Art artists, attract more and more an active and urban population

CORAL GABLES

Coral Gables is the historic district of Miami. Characterized by its Hispanic style architecture, its vast open gardens perfectly maintained, its lush vegetation, its art galleries, its fashion boutiques and its numerous restaurants. It is a very popular neighborhood for French expatriates, probably because of its pleasant homes and schools offering bilingual programs.

COCONUT GROVE

Coconut Grove is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Miami. It was once the village of artists and writers and today it retains traces of that bohemian spirit. This place is known for its European atmosphere, its narrow and intertwined roads and its luxuriant and tropical vegetation which shelters at the same time Bahamian houses, houses of very modern architecture or still large very luxurious residences. The "Grove" enjoys an advantageous location thanks to its proximity to downtown, Miami International Airport and the sea, but also by the presence of public schools offering an international program as well as prestigious private schools.

PINECREST

South of Coral Gables, Pinecrest is a very nice suburb. This neighborhood offers luxurious homes surrounded by large, perfectly maintained properties. Its beautiful gardens, weekly farmer's market and excellent public schools provide an ideal setting for family life.

KEY BISCAYNE

Key Biscayne, just 15 minutes from South Beach, is a residential island that is home to very high-end apartments and superb homes that enjoy views of the Bay and Downtown skyscrapers. It is a calm and peaceful place except during the famous Miami Open tennis tournaments. Its beaches are among the most beautiful in Miami and its "Crandon Park" park offers an exceptional view from the top of its lighthouse. This island is the starting point of the Keys and people come here to practice kite surfing, rent catamarans, sail and many other water activities. Key Biscayne is also known for its Mast Academy school which has a highly regarded marine biology program.
